Description
Key Responsibilities:
Client Management
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and other external stakeholders.
· Capture project requirements, seek approvals/feedback, and provide clarifications throughout project stages.
· Manage client expectations regarding concept, design, execution, cost, and timelines.
· Ensure effective communication with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Innovation & Creativity
· Interpret project briefs (requirements, budget, site constraints) and propose unique design concepts.
· Integrate latest technologies, materials, and processes into designs.
· Research and stay updated on advances in thematic design and construction.
· Foster creativity and innovation within the design team.
· Ensure feasibility of designs with respect to cost, timelines, construction methods, and material availability.
Project Execution
· Prepare and review architectural and construction design development.
· Oversee presentation drawings, working drawings, tender drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
· Ensure designs and drawings comply with domestic and international standards.
· Review architectural, civil, structural, and theme details including shop drawings.
· Coordinate between design and execution teams on technical and commercial aspects.
· Conduct site visits, audits, and regular project reviews to ensure adherence to approved designs and schedules.
Process Orientation
· Ensure compliance with SoPs for project documentation.
· Review submission of drawing registers on a monthly basis.
· Maintain proper documentation with support from the document controller.
· Ensure project execution complies with contractual terms and raise claims for additional works where applicable.
People Management
· Plan manpower budgets and schedules; oversee hiring for the design team.
· Provide regular performance reviews and constructive feedback.
· Enhance productivity and maintain high morale among team members.
· Create learning and professional growth opportunities for team members.
· Foster collaboration and effective communication across internal teams.
Support Functions
· Provide support to business development and marketing teams.
· Participate in marketing exhibitions and conferences.
· Contribute content for internal publications, newsletters, and brochures.
Key Skills / Experience Required:-
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or Architecture (Master's preferred).
Project management certification (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
AutoCAD, 3D Max, Google SketchUp, Photoshop, etc.
5–10 years of experience in architecture and civil working design.
Experience in handling at least 8–10 projects from concept to completion.
Minimum 7 years of independent client/consultant handling.

Strong communication and presentation skills.
Assertiveness and ability to ask the right questions.
Knowledge of project management fundamentals.
