Job Title: Software Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Software Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of software development projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development methodologies, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead cross-functional project teams including developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams.
• Monitor team performance and provide guidance and motivation.
• Monitoring & Reporting
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
• Report and escalate to management as needed.
• Risk & Issue Management
• Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Resolve issues and roadblocks quickly to keep the project on track.
• Quality Assurance
• Ensure projects meet business and technical requirements.
• Maintain high standards of software quality by establishing good practices and habits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 15+ years of experience in project management, preferably in software or technology environments.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, MS Project).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or other project management certifications.
• Experience managing SaaS, mobile app, or enterprise software projects.
• Technical background or hands-on experience in software development is a plus.
