Job Title: Software Testing Team Lead Location: Visakhapatnam Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Testing Team Lead to oversee our software testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing testing activities to ensure software quality across various projects. This role involves hands-on testing, mentoring team members, and working closely with developers and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Lead a team of QA Engineers and Testers (Manual and Automation). Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones. Mentor and train junior QA team members. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Test Planning & Execution Define the testing strategy, scope, and objectives for projects. Prepare test plans, test cases, and test scripts (both manual and automated). Oversee functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing. Manage bug tracking, logging, triaging, and resolution in collaboration with development teams. Process & Quality Assurance Implement and improve QA processes, standards, and documentation practices. Ensure testing best practices, version control, and traceability. Ensure products meet the required quality standards before release. Measure and report quality metrics and KPIs. Cross-Department Collaboration Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, Designers, and DevOps to align testing with business and development goals. Provide testing estimates during planning and sprint grooming sessions. Communicate risks and quality concerns effectively to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automation). Minimum 1–2 years of experience leading a QA or testing team. Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology. Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr). Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Preferred Skills: API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, etc.) Performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner) Knowledge of database testing (SQL) Knowledge of scripting languages lo Java script Knowledge of Programming languages- java , C # , python Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Attention to detail and a passion for quality. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
