Job Description

As an Engagement (Project) Manager at Workday, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the deployment lifecycle, solution delivery, and issue management. Your responsibilities will include managing a portfolio of project engagements, both external customer-facing and internal Workday engagements. You will work closely with Workday Delivery leadership, consultants, and resource management to ensure successful implementation of Workday products on various projects. Your key tasks will involve developing project deliverables, managing project budgets, and driving project profitability. To excel in this role, you should have the ability to handle multiple Workday product implementations simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered within the specified budget and timeline. You will also be involved in the sales cycle, providing input on requirements, delivery approaches, and proposals. Mentoring and guiding Professional Services resources working on your implementations, planning and staffing projects effectively, resolving issues that may impact project scope or deadlines, and presenting at Executive Steering Committee meetings are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will serve as a liaison between Professional Services, sales, and development teams, identifying opportunities for offering additional services, ensuring clients adopt Workday best practices, and facilitating a smooth transition of customers from Professional Services to Product Support. You will also be responsible for presenting change orders to clients for tasks outside the scope of the Statement of Work (SOW) and ensuring project compliance with Workday Partners. Workday values diversity and encourages innovation, collaboration, and an 'Employees First' experience for its workmates. As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Workday considers qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records, individuals with disabilities, and protected veterans for employment opportunities.
