Job Description

We are seeking the services of a Project Manager with a background in T ourism Industry alongwith Operations or Market Research related skills .
Must be well versed with V endor M anagement .
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the d evelopment and execution of tourism related projects sponsored by the Government of India and various state governments across multiple Geographies.
The ideal candidate should have 5-6 years of experience in Operations preferably in the tourism industry and possess excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors /Masters degree in either Tourism Management, Hospitality

Management or Business Management .

Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of 5-6 years of

relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with stakeholders which in clud e tourism organizations, government agencies and vendors to gather requirements and establish project goals.

To establish Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators(KPIs) within the project to maximize productivity, manage project budgets, ensure cost optimization and efficient utilization of resources .
Recruitment and training of large size teams of enumerators for selected states.

Drive monthly surveys for primary data collection.Ensure achievement of targets in terms of manpower and survey requirements and quality standards .

Field travel across selected states as per project requirements.
Prepare regular progress reports and present updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges and recommendations for improvement.

Desired Skills:

K nowledge of tourism industry practices, trends, and challenges shall be preferred.

Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
