Project Manager

Role Summary:

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of new store openings, store renovations, and infrastructure projects across regions. This includes site evaluation, vendor management, cost control, timeline management, quality assurance, and seamless handover for operations. The role demands strong project execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution:

• Manage the complete lifecycle of retail expansion projects.
• Prepare detailed project plans with timelines, cost estimates, and resource requirements.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion.

• Vendor Management:

• Identify, negotiate with, and onboard contractors and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and timely delivery.

• Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop project budgets and ensure cost optimization without compromising on quality.
• Approve purchase orders, bills, and track project expenditures against budgets.

• Site Inspection and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality, and resolve on-site issues.
• Ensure the final store setup meets Specsmakers' brand guidelines and standards.

• Reporting and Documentation:

• Provide regular project updates to leadership on status, risks, and milestones achieved.
• Maintain detailed records of project plans, approvals, contracts, and handover documents.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Retail, Marketing, Visual Merchandising, and Finance teams for successful project delivery.
