Role Description

Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Project Ownership:

  Plan, organize, and manage projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.

• Client Communication:

  Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.

• Cross-Team Coordination:

  Facilitate collaboration across design, development, and QA teams; ensure everyone is aligned on deliverables.

• Process Management:

  Track milestones, identify bottlenecks, and proactively resolve risks before they impact delivery.

• Documentation & Reporting:

  Maintain clear project documentation, meeting notes, and dashboards; share progress with internal stakeholders and clients.

• Quality Assurance:

  Ensure deliverables meet ShopTrade’s standards for performance, usability, and polish.

• Continuous Improvement:

  Work with leadership to refine project management processes, templates, and tools for scalability.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• 2-3 years of project management experience in a technology, SaaS, or eCommerce environment (experience with Shopify or related commerce platforms is a strong plus).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Hubstaff, or similar) and comfort learning new systems.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, or Kanban).
• Strong client-facing experience, with confidence in leading meetings and presenting updates.
• Proactive problem solver, detail-driven, and adaptable in fast-paced environments.

• Collaboration with clients across multiple timezones is managed thoughtfully, with schedules and communication adapted to ensure alignment and responsiveness.

• Project processes become more efficient and scalable over time.

Your Team

You’ll work directly with our delivery leads, developers, and designers, while closely collaborating with leadership. You will play a central role in bridging clients and teams to ensure high-quality outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, clarity, and impact — and who finds satisfaction in driving projects from idea to launch.
