Job Summary

The Site Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all on-site activities of construction or engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project goals efficiently.


Key Responsibilities


Project Planning & Coordination

  • Develop and implement project schedules, work plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate daily on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
  • Organize and lead site meetings with contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders.


Site Supervision

  • Monitor site progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
  • Oversee material deliveries, equipment usage, and labor productivity.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues promptly to avoid delays or cost overruns.


Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Enforce health and safety protocols and ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.


Budget & Cost Control

  • Track project expenses, manage procurement, and control variations.
  • Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management review.


Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, issues, and deliverables.


Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of project documents, drawings, and permits.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, site diaries, and handover documentation.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in site or project management (construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
