Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled PEB & FOB Engineer with strong experience in structural steel fabrication, erection, and project execution. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of billing, drawing interpretation, and structural steel systems, including composite structures, girders, bridges, railway FOBs, and PEB components.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical & Engineering

• Review, interpret, and verify GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and erection drawings.

2. Fabrication & Erection Supervision

• Monitor fabrication activities including cutting, welding, surface preparation, assembly, and painting.
• Oversee erection activities for PEB structures, FOBs, girders, trusses, and steel bridges.
• Ensure proper alignment, bolt tightening, welding quality, and installation accuracy.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth execution.

3. Billing & Documentation

• Prepare and verify quantities (BOQ), RA bills, material reconciliation, and consumption reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation for work progress, measurements, quality checks, and site records.
• Support procurement by providing material requirement sheets and quantity estimates.

4. Quality & Safety

• Ensure quality compliance for welding, bolting, NDT, painting, and fit-up checks.
• Implement and monitor HSE practices during fabrication and erection.
• Conduct inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.

5. Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Support planning, scheduling, and timely completion of milestones.
• Coordinate with design teams to resolve RFI, technical queries, and drawing inconsistencies.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, structural steel standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct site measurements and verify material requirements for fabrication and erection.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication & erection.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and structural layouts.
• Hands-on knowledge of PEB systems, FOB structures, steel bridges, girders, and railway structures.
• Good understanding of billing, BOQ preparation, and quantity estimation.
• Familiarity with welding standards, bolting standards, and quality checks.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD / Tekla (added advantage).

Preferred

• 1 - 6 Years of experience.
• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in PEB industry, FOB construction, steel structures, or bridge fabrication preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
