Civil Engineer/ Site Supervisor

Role Overview: You are required to work as a Civil Engineer and Site Supervisor for the ongoing Retail Outlet Construction Project at CPCL, Chennai. Your role involves supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring work progress as per the project plan, monitoring quality of construction materials and workmanship, coordinating with contractors, vendors, and clients, maintaining site reports, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and company guidelines. You will also assist in planning, scheduling, and executing civil works, handle manpower management, and resolve on-site issues efficiently. Proficiency in Tamil is essential for effective site communication and coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure work progress as per project plan. - Monitor quality of construction materials and workmanship. - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and clients for project requirements. - Maintain site reports, measurement books, and progress documentation. - Ensure adherence to safety standards and company guidelines. - Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of civil works. - Handle manpower management and resolve on-site issues. Qualification Required: For Civil Engineer: - Diploma/B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering - Minimum 15 years of experience in Retail Outlet/Fuel Station Construction - Proficiency in Tamil (Mandatory), with English/Hindi as an added advantage - Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills For Site Supervisor: - ITI/Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience - Minimum 15 years of experience in Retail Outlet/Fuel Station Construction - Proficiency in Tamil (Mandatory), with English/Hindi as an added advantage - Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills Note: This job is full-time and requires in-person work at the project site in Chennai.
