Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager – Civil to oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple construction sites. The candidate will be responsible for the acquisition, planning, operations, billing, and management of manpower and machinery. This role also involves ensuring productivity and quality standards while meeting recovery and billing targets. The position requires extensive travel within the MMR region and effective management of client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management:
• Oversee and manage construction sites, ensuring adherence to timelines and project specifications.
• Monitor site activities, machinery usage, and manpower deployment to achieve optimal productivity.
• Ensure smooth coordination between site teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Manpower & Machinery Management:
• Supervise site workforce to ensure efficient manpower utilization and resolve any workforce-related issues.
• Manage and maintain machinery to avoid downtime and ensure smooth site operations.
• Project Planning & Execution:
• Handle end-to-end project planning, from initiation to completion.
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met as per client requirements and company standards.
• Billing & Recovery:
• Oversee project billing processes, ensuring accurate invoicing in line with contractual agreements.
• Manage financials for the project, including cost control, recovery of payments, and ensuring profitability.
• Client & Stakeholder Management:
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
• Regularly update clients on project progress and address any concerns or issues.
• Quality & Productivity:
• Drive efforts to meet the productivity targets and ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
• Ensure that all work is carried out as per the best practices and local regulatory requirements.
• Geographical & Soil Knowledge:
• Review and analyze geographical soil reports to ensure the project design is suited to the site conditions.
• Make recommendations to improve site conditions based on soil reports.
• Travel Requirements:
• Frequent travel within the MMR region to manage various sites and ensure project consistency.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in civil construction, including project acquisition, planning, operation, billing, and site management.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of construction project management, manpower, and machinery management.
• Excellent understanding of billing processes, recovery, and client management.
• Ability to handle large-scale projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of geographical soil reports and their impact on project planning and execution.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
