Job Title: Project Manager – Commercial Interior & Exterior Location: Bangalore. Department: Projects / Construction Management Job Summary: The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and completing commercial interior and exterior construction projects on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery from design development through project handover. Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution Lead the end-to-end management of commercial interior and exterior fit-out projects. Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure all projects are executed in compliance with design intent, quality standards, and safety regulations. Monitor progress and proactively address risks, delays, or cost overruns. Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Conduct regular client meetings and project status reviews. Ensure client satisfaction through clear communication and timely delivery. Design & Technical Coordination Collaborate with architects, designers, and engineers during the design and detailing stages. Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure constructability. Coordinate site activities and resolve technical or design conflicts. Procurement & Cost Management Prepare project budgets, track expenditures, and manage cost controls. Oversee procurement of materials, subcontractors, and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to commercial terms. Quality, Safety & Compliance Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and quality audits. Manage project closeout, snagging, and handover documentation. Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. 5–10 years of experience managing commercial interior and exterior projects (corporate offices, retail, hospitality, or mixed-use developments). Proven experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Strong understanding of project management principles, construction methods, and fit-out execution. Skills & Competencies:Excellent project planning, budgeting, and scheduling skills. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Proficient in project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills. Knowledge of local building codes, materials, and vendor ecosystem. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):On-time and on-budget delivery of projects. Client satisfaction and repeat business. Quality compliance and safety record. Effective cost control and value engineering initiatives.
