Job Description

Purpose/Objective


    Project Manager coordinates dredging projects, handling planning, resource management, cost estimation, financial compliance, technical proposals, safety and quality, and stakeholder communication for project tracking.

Key Responsibilities of Role


    Operational Planning and Execution: - Organize daily dredging tasks to meet project deadlines, aiming for efficient completion and revenue optimization. Resource Management: - Allocate manpower strategically to match operational plans and oversee project teams with a focus on safety and quality. Budget Control: - Calculate and track project costs, ensuring financial management aligns with scope, schedule, and budget. Project Management: - Innovate technical solutions for project challenges, seek efficiency improvements, and strategize to mitigate risks. Asset Management: - Boost dredger availability and efficiency through frequent inspections, prompt technical team coordination for defect repairs, thorough staff training, and maintaining statutory certifications for peak operational readiness and performance. Safety and Environmental Compliance: - Uphold safety standards and participate in initiatives to meet environmental regulations. Documentation and Reporting: - Oversee the review of progress reports and monthly management information systems (MIS). Monthly invoicing: - Manage prompt and precise invoicing as per contract terms, coordinating with the employer for certification and submission to ensure steady cash flow and contract adherence. Statutory compliances: - Maintain legal and operational integrity by ensuring all project-related statutory requirements are met, coordinating across departments for adherence to labour laws, site regulations, and company compliances. Digital Mindset: - Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Team Development: - Promote a respectful and safe workplace, lead collaborative and productive teams, and mentor for growth and success.
