Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects from conception through implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining project scope, managing resources, setting timelines, controlling budget, and ensuring the final product meets high-quality standards and business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures (WBS) to monitor and track progress.
Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams (developers, QA, designers, product owners) to ensure efficient delivery. Define team member roles and responsibilities.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, providing regular status updates, managing expectations, and communicating risks.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and manage conflicts to prevent project delays.
Process Management: Oversee projects using Agile/Scrum or Kanban methodologies, ensuring adherence to best practices and continuous improvement. Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Budget & Resource Control: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives within financial constraints.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables and documentation meet the required quality standards and are successfully transitioned into production.

Qualifications Experience:

5+ years of experience in managing IT or software development projects. Proven experience working within an Agile framework (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
Technical Skills: Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
Knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps concepts) is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferable but not a MUST have.
Required Competencies Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. High degree of organizational skills and attention to detail.
