BCN is a crucial unit of Expert Client Delivery (ECD) and plays a pivotal role in supporting Bain's case teams globally with analytics and research solutions across industries, specific domains for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence, or Bain intellectual property. BCN comprises Consulting Services, Knowledge Services, and Shared Services. The Consumer Products Center of Expertise collaborates with Bains global Consumer Products Practice leadership, client-facing Bain leadership and teams, and with end clients on development and delivery of Bains proprietary CP products and solutions. These solutions aim to address strategic questions of Bains CP clients relating to brand strategy, revenue growth management, negotiation strategy with key retailers, and optimization of COGS among others. As a part of our team, you will be working on projects typically spanning from 3 weeks to 3 months, alongside a mix of Director, Managers, Projects Leads, Associates, and Analysts. The delivery models on projects may vary, including working as part of a broader global Bain case team, BCN working independently with a Bain Associate Partner/Partner, or BCN working directly with end clients. Your responsibilities will include owning an end-to-end client project, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery to clients through effective team management, defining deliverables, prioritizing and setting deadlines, reviewing work, providing feedback, ensuring quality control, and identifying and proactively engaging on critical issues on projects and with clients. You will be expected to lead work planning, problem-solving, hypothesis generation, research, insight generation, client communication, and engagement. Candidates should have a strong academic background with relevant work experience ranging from 3-8 years in management consulting and data analytics within Consumer Products/Retail industry domains. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical ability, leadership skills, communication skills, and a proven track record of managing multiple client accounts and internal teams.
