Position Overview

Project Lead

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage textile & apparel projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with designers, pattern makers, tailors, and production teams to ensure design accuracy and timely output.
• Plan and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with fabric suppliers and artisans for khadi, cotton, linen, and silk procurement.
• Ensure quality standards are met for both traditional and contemporary outfits.
• Drive innovation in design processes while preserving craftsmanship.
• Act as the bridge between creative, operational, and sales teams.
• Track project KPIs, report progress, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in 

  Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, Apparel Production, or related field

  .
• 5+ years of experience in project management within textiles/fashion/apparel.
• Strong knowledge of 

  fabric behavior (khadi, cotton, linen, silk)

   and garment construction.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to handle cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office.
• A passion for both traditional textiles and modern design sensibilities.
