Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Project Management:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of government projects as well as managing in-house projects within an organization related to ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Implement best practices for project execution, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Streamline project operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring optimal resource utilization

2. Project Planning:

  • Collaborate with government officials and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, resources, and dependencies.
  • Building relationships with government officials and stakeholders to facilitate the flow of information and collaboration between government departments and private sector organizations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements within project management procedures.
  • Implement best practices to optimize project outcomes.

3. Team Leadership & Communication:

  • Manage and lead a team of 100-150 professionals, including Team member, Project specialists, and support staff.
  • Assign tasks, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and relevant government agencies.
  • Address and resolve conflicts that may arise within the project team or with external parties.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to promote effective problem-solving.

4. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

  • Identify potential risks and obstacles to project success.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project outcomes are achieved.
  • Prepare regular progress reports, status updates, and other project-related documentation for government officials and stakeholders
  • Travel to project sites as required overseeing project implementation, assessing progress, and addressing challenges
