Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Project Executive / Project Coordinator with an academic background in Botany or Horticulture to join our Delhi team.
The candidate will be responsible for executing and monitoring plantation and environmental projects, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing on-ground teams to ensure smooth project implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Coordination:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor plantation and biodiversity projects across Delhi and nearby areas.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, partners, and vendors for project implementation.
  • Supervise field teams during plantation drives, maintenance, and reporting.
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, and ensure project quality and timelines.
  • Assist in plant species selection, plantation layout, and maintenance schedules.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare daily/weekly project reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Collect on-ground data, photographs, and updates for impact assessment.
  • Support proposal development, presentation material, and donor reporting.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with corporate CSR teams, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
  • Support planning and execution of volunteer or corporate plantation events.
  • Build relationships with nurseries, horticulturists, and vendors.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Botany, Horticulture, Forestry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in plantation, biodiversity, or horticulture-related projects.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of native plants, tree species, and horticultural practices.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Email communication).
  • Fieldwork-oriented and able to travel within project locations.
  • Good documentation and reporting ability.

Preferred Qualities:

  • Passionate about environment and sustainability.
  • Experience working with NGOs or CSR-based environmental projects.
  • Self-driven, responsible, and team-oriented.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,280.47 - ₹30,455.01 per month
