🚢 Role Overview – What You'll Be Doing

Project Engineer

• Collaborating on diverse PMS and technical projects across fleets.
• Extracting job routines and spare parts from ship machinery manuals.
• Structuring and building PMS databases for new vessels.
• Amending work procedures and aligning maintenance jobs.
• Coordinating with Chief Engineers, Masters, and ship staff for PMS planning.
• Creating reports, tracking progress, and ensuring delivery excellence.
• Proposing and implementing system improvements with Project Managers.

🔧 What We’re Looking For

• Education:

  Degree/Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering

• Experience:

  Minimum 6 months onboard as 4th Engineer or Junior Engineer
• Strong understanding of shipboard maintenance systems and routines.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Computer savvy – Excel, Word, and data structuring tools.
• Familiarity with PMS platforms like AMOS, NS5, ShipManager, Sertica, KAPA, Shipnet, DNV-GL, etc.

💼 Bonus Points For

• Holding an Indian CDC
• Experience with spare parts inventory or onboard audits
• Willingness to travel for occasional ship visits (typically 2–3 weeks)
• Experience leading or guiding a small data entry/technical team
