Project Engineer

Job Summary:

Objectify Technologies is looking for a Project Engineer – Project Execution Operations to lead and manage finishing, painting, and post-processing activities for 3D-printed and prototype parts. The ideal candidate must have 3–4 years of experience, strong project execution capability, and proven manpower handling skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Project & Timeline Management

               •            Lead complete execution of post-processing projects from job receipt to final dispatch.

               •            Plan project timelines, allocate manpower, and track daily job progress.

               •            Ensure on-time delivery by monitoring workflow and resolving bottlenecks.

               •            Communicate daily/weekly project status with internal teams and management.

Manpower & Team Management

               •            Handle and supervise a team of 8–15 post-processing technicians and painters.

               •            Assign tasks based on workload, skill, and project priorities.

               •            Monitor discipline, performance, efficiency, and quality.

               •            Train team members in finishing techniques, safety, and SOP compliance.

               •            Maintain a structured, safe, and productive shop-floor environment.

Post Processing & Finishing Operations

               •            Oversee sanding, filing, putty application, priming, painting, bead blasting, polishing, and surface finishing.

               •            Review printed parts and determine the right post-processing workflow.

               •            Conduct final quality checks to ensure parts meet aesthetic and dimensional standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination

               •            Coordinate with Printing, QC, Planning, Design, Sales, and Dispatch departments.

               •            Provide time estimates for incoming projects and customer quotations.

               •            Ensure clear communication of finishing requirements and job priorities.

Inventory & Equipment Management

               •            Monitor consumables (paints, abrasives, primers, etc.).

               •            Maintain tools, spray booths, curing ovens, and other equipment.

               •            Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Mandatory: Proven experience in manpower handling and shop-floor team leadership.

               •            Strong project management and multitasking abilities.

               •            Excellent coordination, communication, and planning skills.

•                •            High attention to detail and strong quality mindset.

Qualifications:

Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Manufacturing, or related field.

•                •            3–4 years of experience in post-processing, finishing, painting, prototyping, automotive refinishing, or additive manufacturing.
