Polymer Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer

As a Polymer Additive Manufacturing Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects that involve polymer additive manufacturing processes. Your role will involve planning, executing, and monitoring projects from inception to completion, ensuring project goals are met within budget and on time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies. Your responsibilities will also include managing project documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards, providing technical expertise and support to project teams, preparing project reports and presentations for stakeholders, as well as troubleshooting and resolving project-related issues. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in polymer additive manufacturing and project management. You should possess a strong knowledge of polymer materials and additive manufacturing processes, proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential for this position. In terms of skills, you should be familiar with polymer materials and additive manufacturing techniques, have experience with project management software such as MS Project, be competent in engineering software like Solidworks and Magics, and proficient in the MS Office suite of apps (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, TEAMS). Additionally, you should have the ability to develop Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM) products and convert CAD data into Additive Manufacturing (AM) slicing files.
