Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Conduct site visits and assessments to determine feasibility and design parameters for rooftop solar installations. Prepare detailed system designs using AutoCAD, including layout, SLDs, and structural mounting. Perform system simulations and energy yield estimations using PVsyst, Helioscope, or equivalent software. Design electrical systems including DC & AC sizing, cable calculations, inverter selection, and protection systems. Coordinate with procurement and execution teams to ensure timely availability of materials and proper execution at the site. Supervise installation and commissioning activities to ensure technical compliance and quality standards. Prepare and review project documentation including technical BOQs, reports, and drawings. Ensure adherence to MNRE/Govt. guidelines, safety norms, and quality standards. Provide technical support during pre-sales discussions and client meetings as needed. Key Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering or related field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Rooftop Solar Projects (design & execution). Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office tools is a must. Familiarity with solar PV components, BOS, and installation standards (IEC/IS). Knowledge of net-metering, grid synchronization, and DISCOM processes preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and coordination skills. Willingness to travel across Bihar, West Bengal, and Delhi for project needs. Preferred:Experience in working under PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana or MNRE Phase-II programs. Basic understanding of solar financial models and technical-commercial proposals. Knowledge of SketchUp, Helioscope, or other solar software tools is a plus.
