Project Coordinator

About the Opportunity

Currently, K4 Construction (a Canada based construction company) is looking for a full-time Project Coordinator focusing on custom builds for Commercial and residential projects.

Reporting to the specified Project Manager, you will support communication between internal and external stakeholders regarding budget, timeline, code requirements, and design expectations.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assisting in creating and maintaining construction schedules
• Assisting in creating estimates, obtaining tenders, and monitoring budgets for construction projects
• Inputting accepted quotes into the budget database
• Taking telephone calls to resolve issues and trade queries at Project Coordinator level
• Assisting in scheduling trades for workflow with site staff and helping enforce deadlines to meet construction schedules
• Assisting in ordering materials
• Supporting in the arranging for, recording, and accounting code trade invoices on a timely basis
• Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Project Reports
• Keeping detailed project documentation, including agreements, drawings, and correspondences
• Maintaining good working relationships with suppliers
• Providing 5-star boutique-style customer service

About You

To qualify for this role, you will need 2+ years’ experience in any relevant industry such as construction, building design, and interior design.

In addition, the ability to read construction blueprints and design drawings, as well as proficiency in MS Office Suite, will be required for this role.

Moreover, candidates with the following will be considered an asset (but are not required):

• Post-secondary diploma or equivalent in Building Technology or related studies
• Good knowledge of building and structures
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and databases
• Experience in CRM in projects
• Fluent in English and Punjabi

We are also looking for a motivated candidate with outstanding attention to detail, organizational skills, excellent time management, and ability to multitask.

Lastly, you will be joining us with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect different internal and external stakeholders as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
