Professor, Associate or Assistant Professor Computer Science

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area for a Professor, Associate, or Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering at Woxsen University. The faculty will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses through project based learning, developing and updating curriculum, conducting research in their area of expertise, mentoring students and PhD scholars, and contributing to the academic community. Additionally, the faculty will be expected to engage in the school of departmental activities, participate in faculty meetings, and collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects in the research center on coalition of intelligences and AI transformation (CITRIC).

Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Data Science, and Cybersecurity
• Expertise in Generative AI, ML/DL, Blockchain, or Agentic AI
• Strong research background with the proven ability to publish in reputable journals
• Excellent teaching and communication skills
• Ability to mentor and guide students through industry driven research in class project based practical leaarning (PBL).
• MTech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering
• Experience in academia and a strong professional network in the field
• Experience in Curriculum Development for undergraduate and graduate programs
• Proficiency in various Programming languages and technologies
• Experience in accrediation (NBA, ABET, NAC) will be a plus.
