Areas of Specialization (including but not limited to):Sociology | Anthropology | PsychologyPolitical Science | International RelationsHistory | Philosophy | Cultural StudiesGender Studies | Global South StudiesEthics | Aesthetics | Comparative LiteratureMedia Studies | Critical TheoryKey ResponsibilitiesTeaching: Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses aligned with global standards and Woxsen’s liberal arts ethos.Research: Engage in high-quality, publishable research in peer-reviewed journals and contribute to the global knowledge economy.Curriculum Development: Contribute to curriculum innovation with interdisciplinary and culturally responsive content.Student Mentorship: Guide students in academic, professional, and research development.Global Engagement: Strengthen Woxsen’s international collaborations and participate in cross-cultural academic exchanges.Institutional Contribution: Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and strategic planning initiatives.Qualifications & ExperienceEssential:Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degree in a relevant field.A minimum of 3 years of teaching and/or research experience at the university level.Demonstrated publication record in international journals.Excellent command of English.Preferred:Prior international academic or research experience.Experience with interdisciplinary teaching or liberal arts pedagogy.Experience in mentoring culturally diverse students.
