Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  1. Curriculum Development & Design:

  • Design, update, and implement highly engaging, industry-relevant curriculum and training modules for professional soft skills, behavioral skills, and employability enhancement.
  • Incorporate the latest industry trends, corporate best practices, and effective adult learning principles into all training materials (presentations, handbooks, case studies, etc.).

Instruction & Training Delivery:

  • Deliver dynamic, interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars using diverse methodologies (in-person, virtual, blended).
  • Focus areas include

    Professional Communication (Verbal & Written), Teamwork & Collaboration, Leadership, Adaptability, Emotional Intelligence, Time Management, Stress Management, and Corporate Etiquette.

  • Conduct specialized training for

    Career Advancement

    activities, such as Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI) with mock sessions and expert feedback.

Student Assessment & Mentorship:

  • Develop and administer effective assessment tools to evaluate student proficiency and track skill progression.
  • Provide personalized mentorship and coaching to students, helping them identify and address specific skill gaps for enhanced employability.
  • Record and monitor student attendance and performance data, providing timely and constructive feedback.

Academic & Industry Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other faculty and department heads within SCIL (e.g., Aptitude Skills, Career Advancements) to ensure a holistic and integrated student development experience.
  • Engage with

    industry experts and corporate partners

    to ensure training content remains aligned with real-world corporate demands and placement requirements.
  • Contribute to the strategic objectives of the school, including program development and quality assurance.

Professional Growth:

  • Remain current with new training methodologies, corporate HR trends, and industry-relevant technologies to ensure continuous improvement of courses.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

  • Minimum of

    5+ years of relevant experience

    as a Corporate Trainer, Professional Skills Faculty, or in a similar role focused on professional development.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering impactful training programs to university-level students or corporate employees.

Core Competencies:

  • Exceptional Presentation and Facilitation Skills:

    Ability to command a room, articulate complex ideas clearly, and facilitate engaging group discussions.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:

    Deep knowledge and practical experience in a wide range of professional soft skills and corporate behavior.
  • Curriculum & Instructional Design:

    Proficiency in developing structured, objective-driven training content.
  • Interpersonal & Communication Skills:

    Outstanding ability to build rapport, motivate students, and provide effective coaching.
  • Strong

    Organizational and Time Management

    abilities to handle multiple modules and student groups simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) or a related field.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role within an academic or corporate training environment.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and technology-enhanced learning tools.
