Production Supervisor

1. Production Planning and Execution

• Review daily and weekly production plans and allocate resources accordingly.
• Ensure work orders are executed as per the manufacturing schedule.
• Supervise the assembly, cutting, edge-banding, drilling, and packing sections.

2. Workforce Supervision

• Manage and guide the production team, including operators, helpers, and skilled workers.
• Monitor attendance, shift planning, and productivity.
• Provide on-the-job training and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

3. Quality Assurance

• Monitor product quality at every stage of production.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, dimensions, finish, and standards.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team to resolve any quality issues immediately.

4. Material and Inventory Coordination

• Ensure availability of required raw materials and accessories as per BOM.
• Coordinate with store and purchase departments to manage shortages or delays.
• Minimize material wastage and ensure proper material handling on the shop floor.

5. Equipment and Maintenance

• Ensure machines and tools are in good working condition.
• Report breakdowns promptly to the maintenance team and follow up for quick resolution.
• Enforce regular cleaning and preventive maintenance of production equipment.

6. Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain production reports, material consumption logs, rejection and rework records.
• Submit daily production status updates to the Production Manager.
• Assist in preparing shift-wise efficiency and downtime analysis reports.

7. Coordination with Other Departments

• Work closely with the design team to clarify production drawings.
• Coordinate with the dispatch team to ensure timely packing and shipment.
• Collaborate with the QA and service teams to address customer feedback and warranty issues.

8. Safety and Compliance

• Enforce safety guidelines and best practices across the unit.
• Ensure all operations are in line with company policies and regulatory standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
