Job Description

Production Supervisor Pharma & Chemical Manufacturing

(Hiring for a Leading Chemical/Pharma Manufacturer)

Location:

Roles & Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and monitor daily production activities to achieve targets.
Ensure compliance with
SOPs, GMP, ISO, and statutory regulations
.
Supervise operators, technicians, and contract workers on the shop floor.
Conduct shift meetings, allocate manpower, and monitor productivity.
Coordinate with
QA/QC, R&D, and Maintenance teams
for smooth operations.
Ensure product quality specifications are met at every stage of production.
Maintain accurate
shift reports, production logs, and compliance documentation
.
Implement
safety measures, PPE usage, and statutory EHS practices
.
Handle chemical process equipment (reactors, distillation, scrubbers, etc.).
Lead safety drills, audits, and corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive
process improvements, cost efficiency, and Lean/5S practices
.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of
chemical manufacturing & batch operations
.
Exposure to
pharma production & compliance requirements
.
Familiarity with
Factory Act, OSHA, and Pollution Control norms
.
Team handling & leadership skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication & documentation skills.
