Production Supervisor

About Us: We are a growing furniture manufacturing startup specializing in particle board and iron frame furniture. We focus on quality craftsmanship, timely delivery, and customer satisfaction. We’re looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing floor and ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily production activities on the shop floor. Monitor machine operation and production schedules to meet targets. Ensure quality standards are maintained and conduct quality checks. Manage and motivate production workers, including machine operators, carpenters, and helpers. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols. Report production progress, issues, and resource requirements to management. Assist in training new staff and improving production processes. Coordinate with procurement and store team to ensure timely availability of raw materials. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or related field preferred. 2+ years of experience in furniture manufacturing or a related production environment. Strong understanding of woodworking and metal fabrication processes (particle board, welding, cutting). Leadership skills with ability to manage a small team effectively. Good communication skills and problem-solving ability. Familiarity with safety and quality standards in manufacturing. Preferred Skills: Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting).
