Production Supervisor

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production workers to ensure efficient and timely production of high-quality products. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, including assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing guidance and support as needed. Lead by example and foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Production Planning: Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets and customer demands. Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control standards and procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and customer requirements. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly. Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve any quality-related issues.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct safety training sessions, enforce safety procedures, and investigate accidents or incidents to prevent future occurrences. Promote a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols among production staff.
• Performance Management: Set performance expectations and goals for production staff and provide regular feedback on performance. Conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues through coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as necessary. Recognize and reward outstanding performance to motivate and retain top talent.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods and coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels. Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation efforts. Minimize waste and optimize inventory turnover to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings initiatives to enhance productivity and profitability. Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects and Kaizen events to streamline operations, eliminate waste, and drive operational excellence.

Qualifications:

• 1 years of experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality management principles, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
