Production Supervisor

A Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a production team, ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely to meet production targets and quality standards. They manage production staff, monitor production processes, maintain quality control, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. A key aspect of their role is to optimize production output while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising Production Staff: This includes assigning tasks, providing guidance and training, monitoring performance, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Managing Production Processes: This involves planning and organizing production schedules, monitoring production flow, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and ensuring that production targets are met.
• Ensuring Quality Control: Production Supervisors are responsible for implementing quality control procedures, conducting regular inspections, and addressing any quality-related issues.
• Maintaining Safety Standards: They enforce safety regulations, conduct safety training, and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Optimizing Efficiency: This involves analyzing production data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Inventory Management: Coordinating with supply chain staff to ensure that raw materials and other supplies are available according to the production schedule.
• Communication and Collaboration: Maintaining clear communication with team members, other departments (like engineering and maintenance), and management to resolve issues and improve overall production efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting: Preparing production reports, maintaining records of production activities, and communicating relevant information to management.

• Knowledge of Safety Regulations: Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and regulations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹18,833.42 - ₹28,215.49 per month
