Job Title: Production Supervisor – Electric 3-Wheeler Manufacturing Location: Sriperumbudur Department: Production Experience: 3-6 years in automotive or EV manufacturing (preferably 3-wheeler) Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations of 3-wheeler electric autos. The candidate will be responsible for managing production line activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, coordinating manpower, and meeting production targets as per company guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily production activities on the shop floor for electric 3-wheelers. Ensure adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols. Monitor assembly line efficiency and identify areas for process improvement. Manage workforce planning, shift scheduling, and attendance of production operators. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Stores departments for smooth workflow. Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of production data, downtime, material usage, and operator performance. Implement lean manufacturing practices and 5S on the shop floor. Ensure preventive maintenance of tools, jigs, and equipment used in assembly. Train and guide operators and line leaders to achieve productivity goals. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automobile Engineering or related field. 3+ years of experience in automotive or EV production environment. Good understanding of EV vehicle assembly processes, especially chassis, battery, motor, and wiring integration. Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills. Working knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, and production software. Familiarity with ISO, IATF 16949, and other relevant manufacturing standards.
