About The Role:


The ideal candidate will own the production process of our manufacturing plant(s) in Mujpur. They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and monitor compliance with Production plans in relation to the production unit.
  • Ensure achievement of production targets as per budgeted norms/costs with desire quality ensuring safety of operations.
  • Plan and ensure maintenance of stocks of Raw Material, Packaging Material, and other consumables at plant or in store.
  • Monitor creation and maintenance of records of production and consumption of input material, yield, ratios etc.
  • Ensure packaging and dispatch of final product as per marketing plan.
  • Prepare MIS reports and present the same to Management as per guidelines.
  • Undertake Process troubleshooting, new process implementation, modification etc. in the plant/ unit.
  • Guide & motivate the workforce of Staff/Officers & workmen to achieve production targets within the framework of Quality & Safety, utilizing optimum quantity of materials, with efficient use of machine, energy & manpower.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth operations of the unit/ plant.
  • Optimize Engineering, Maintenance & Production Operations involving a wide range of chemical process equipment & related controls.
  • Ensure that plant personnel are trained on the Optimal Use & Maintenance of all equipment and if need be undertake training of plant personnel.
  • Establish or Up-Date all documentation in relation with quality and safety systems adopted by the organization.
  • Generate and Implement Innovative ideas in area of; Cost Reduction, Productivity increase, Quality improvements, Resource reduction, System improvements, and Waste Minimization.
  • Ensure compliance of Safety and environment-related aspects of the operation.
  • Development and implementation of efficiency program for productivity enhancement through TQM involving all employees.
  • Ensure compliance with guidelines related to Safety, Health, and Environment adopted by the organization.


Qualification & Experience Required:


  • BE/BTech in Chemical Engineering
  • 18+ years experience in production (chemical industry only)
