We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to join our team in the manufacturing of submersible pumps and motors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, improving product quality, and meeting production targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, organize, and supervise production activities to meet production targets and quality standards.
- Implement and maintain efficient production processes, including lean manufacturing techniques.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to improve product design, quality, and reliability.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
- Train and develop production staff to improve skills and knowledge.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high-quality products.
Skills and Abilities.
- Production planning & shop floor management.
- Knowledge of pump hydraulics and motor electrical principles.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP/MRP systems.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
Education and Experience
- Education: B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering (Diploma with relevant experience may also be considered).
- Experience: 3–7 years in pump/motor/electrical equipment manufacturing industry (preferably submersible pumps & motors).
- Strong knowledge of machining, motor winding, VPI (Vacuum Pressure Impregnation), assembly, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and other productivity tools.
