Role Overview We are seeking a Production Engineer to oversee our production facility, ensuring smooth operations, high-quality output, and effective machine maintenance. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of fabrication processes and materials. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily production activities to meet deadlines and quality standards. Ensure quality control at every stage of manufacturing. Inspect and approve procured materials before handover to the store for storage. Maintain and service production machines to minimize downtime. Plan and optimize fabrication processes for efficiency. Drive facility improvement initiatives for better productivity. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals. Requirements Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Experience: 2–5 years in fabrication/manufacturing industry (Hot Cells/structural fabrication preferred). Technical Expertise: Skilled in measuring instruments (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, etc.) Knowledge of fabrication processes (cutting, welding, machining, assembly). Understanding of fabrication/structural materials (steel, lead, stainless steel) and their properties. Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to read engineering drawings.
