Production Engineer

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience

Or

Bachelors in Mechanical / Production / Automobile engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

· Good understanding of manufacturing processes i.e., casting, molding, painting & assembly operations.

· Good knowledge of Assembly process, its trouble shooting, line balancing, material flow, manpower, identification of CTQ, understanding the criticality of operation.

· Ability to verify correctness & robustness of process.

· Excellent analytical & critical thinking and problem-solving skills in plant operation

· Conversant with operations of in-process inspections and quality audits.

· Reading out the drawing contents.

· Ability to work in a fast faced, self-directed and self - driven environment.

· A keen planner and strategist with skills in team building, organization building capability and proven abilities in planning and managing resources in 4M.

· Excellent interpersonal, communication with strong analytical, problem solving & organizational abilities.

· Excellent working knowledge on MS office software such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Essential Duties and Accountabilites

· Develop Process Standards and Guidelines for the various activities of Assembly Department.

· Meet Production targets /timelines/implement production plan.

· Team management & deployment to achieve production targets.

· Responsible to increase the first pass ratio of final vehicle assembly.

· Management of assembly right parts in all domestic & export models.

· Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.

· Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.

· Delivers process improvement ideas that reduce costs or increase productivity.

· Demonstrate leadership.

· Ensuring 5S & Safety at shopfloor.

· Conducting rejection analysis in coordination with Quality & providing structured feedback to concern departments.

· To generate Daily, Weekly, Monthly report and feedback to respective departments for Action plan.

· To handle new Projects in terms of Layout, Infrastructure Requirement and Process setup.

· Evaluating & understanding of new model design & its manufacturing aspects.

· Review of existing equipment & Capability study for accommodating new model.

Pay: ₹11,248.93 - ₹49,462.17 per month
