Role Summary

Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Product Owner

Key Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and maintain the

  MES product vision, strategy, and roadmap

  .
• Develop

  business cases and ROI models

  to justify MES initiatives and investments.
• Align the MES roadmap with

  corporate goals and digital transformation priorities

  .
• Manage

  budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

  for MES projects and enhancements.
• Collaborate closely with

  IT, Operations, and Quality teams

  to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Stay informed on

  industry trends and emerging technologies

  (IoT, AI, Industry 4.0) to enhance MES functionality.
• Oversee

  vendor management

  , including solution evaluations, upgrades, and contract negotiations.

Desired Skills

• MES Strategy & Lifecycle Management:

  Strong understanding of MES architecture, implementation, and optimization.

• Vendor Management:

  Experience with major MES platforms such as

  AVEVA, Siemens, and Werum Pas-X.

• Financial Acumen:

  Proficiency in ROI modeling, budgeting, and cost optimization.

• Data Analytics & KPIs:

  Skilled at leveraging MES data for business intelligence and strategic decision-making.

• Industry 4.0 Knowledge:

  Familiarity with IoT, AI, and cloud-based MES solutions.

• Regulatory Awareness:

  Understanding of compliance standards such as

  CFR21

  ISO

  is a plus.
