Role Summary

You will combine Product Owner / Project Management

• As a

  BA

  , you understand prop and FX workflows, map processes, and write clear requirements and test cases.
• As a

  PO/PM

  , you own the roadmap, backlog, and delivery rhythm for a small, focused team (backend, DevOps, React, UI/UX).

You are hands-on, comfortable “getting into the weeds” with details and then zooming out to priorities and timelines.

What You’ll Do

Discover & Define

• Run discovery sessions with founders, trading/risk, ops, and support.
• Map the prop-funded lifecycle: buy evaluation → trading under rules → pass/fail → funded → scaling → payouts → support.
• Document processes, edge cases, and rules (drawdown, daily loss, news restrictions, copy-trading, multi-accounting).
• Produce

  concise

  BRDs/FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and simple diagrams (BPMN, user flows, ERDs).

Plan & Deliver

• Own the

  product backlog

  in Jira: define epics, stories, and priorities aligned with business goals.
• Plan and run a light agile cadence (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews/retros).
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies; keep the team and stakeholders aligned on scope and timelines.
• Work closely with designers and developers to slice work into shippable increments.

Test & Improve

• Define test scenarios and acceptance criteria with the team.

• Hands-on testing

  : prepare test cases, run UAT/smoke tests, log defects with clear repro steps and evidence.
• Validate integrations (trading platforms, payments, KYC/AML) at a business-flow level.
• Use feedback and data to refine requirements and backlog priorities.

Requirements

• 4+ years in

  Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Project Manager

  roles on web applications/platforms.
• Deep understanding of the

  prop-funded trading model

  (evaluation → pass → funded → scale → payout) and key risk rules.
• Working knowledge of

  Forex (FX)

  : leverage, margin, order types, trading sessions, spreads/swaps.
• Strong skills in

  process modeling

  (BPMN) and basic data/ERD design.
• Experience working with engineering teams and integrating systems (e.g., MT4/MT5, cTrader, payments, KYC/AML).
• Comfortable owning the

  backlog and delivery

  in a small team (you’ve run sprints before).
• Proficiency with

  Atlassian

  tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Able to create clear flows and diagrams using

  Lucidchart, Miro, or

  draw.io

  ; basic Figma familiarity is a plus.
• Hands-on testing mindset: UAT, smoke testing, and structured defect reporting.
• Clear, structured communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in

  fintech, trading, or prop trading

  specifically.
• Exposure to

  AI/automation

  use cases (fraud/anomaly alerts, agent assist, knowledge search).
• Basic SQL and API tools (Postman/Swagger) for validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with customer-facing dashboards or portals.
