Our client, a Leading Bank is looking out for a Product Manager – Digital Collections & Payments Solutions
to be based at Mumbai.
B.E/B.Tech/ MBA with 5-7 years (Minimum 3 years in Corporate/Commercial banking or fintech domain)
• Experience with APIs or integrations in payment ecosystems (UPI, NACH, POS, VPA, QR, etc.)
• Exposure to business banking platforms or merchant-facing tools.
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Collections & Payment Solutions vertical for the Bank's business platform. This platform caters to a diverse set of customer segments including Individuals, Sole Proprietors, Partnerships, Private Limited Companies, LLCs, NBFCs, and Large Retailers.
The ideal candidate will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for end-to-end digital payment and collection experiences—across onboarding, invoicing, reconciliation, integrations, and reporting.
This role combines deep product thinking with a strong understanding of commercial banking workflows and user-centric innovation.
• Define and own the strategy, and roadmap for Collections and Payment solutions on the platform.
• Develop a scalable and modular product suite for diverse business segments—from Individuals and Sole Props to large corporate entities.
• Drive innovation and differentiation in the collections layer: UPI, NACH, e-mandates, payment links, QR, cards, net banking, wallets, etc.
• Conduct regular market visits, merchant interviews, and user research to understand nuanced collection needs across sectors.
• Identify whitespace opportunities and segment-specific workflows (e.g., recurring billing for NBFCs, COD settlements for retailers).
• Work closely with engineering, compliance, sales, operations, legal, and external partners (payment gateways, banks, etc.) to bring collections features to life.
• Champion alignment across stakeholders—presenting business cases, prototypes, and product demos.
• Use tools like Appsflyer, Firebase, Clevertap, and internal dashboards to monitor product performance, user journeys, drop-offs, and engagement.
• Analyze funnels, retention, and revenue metrics to identify insightful, actionable optimizations.
• Implement and monitor A/B tests for critical user flows.
• Ensure every feature solves real user problems with simplicity and measurable value.
• Guide UX/UI teams to build intuitive interfaces optimized for different user personas (individuals vs. corporates).
• Lead internal and external UATs before rollouts.
• 5-7 years of product management experience, with at least 3–5 years in commercial banking, fintech, or B2B platforms.
• Proven experience in building or managing collections and payment solutions for diverse business segments.
• Deep understanding of corporate cash management, payment reconciliation, KYB, and compliance workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Appsflyer, Firebase, Clevertap, or similar tools.
• Ability to translate customer pain points into well-defined product requirements.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience using SQL, dashboards, or experimentation platforms.
