About the role

You will lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of Univest’s advisory experience across equities, F&O, commodities, and mutual funds — working closely with a strong cross-functional team.

Being an active options trader is a must-have for this role — the only way to build for traders is to deeply understand how they think, react, and make decisions in live markets.

B. Your Key Responsibilities

1. Product Strategy & Ownership

• Lead the roadmap and delivery of advisory products across equities, F&O, commodities & mutual funds (obviously with a team)
• Prioritize experiences that drive business goals and real user outcomes

1. Trader-Focused Product Development

• Convert real trading insights & strategies into intuitive product experiences
• Work hands-on with research teams to deliver high-adoption experience

1. Data and Feedback Driven Iterations

• Define and track performance metrics across the full advisory funnel — signal quality, adoption, exits, risk adherence, retention & monetization
• Run structured experiments to improve execution success, repeat usage and paid conversions
• Build tight user feedback loops — especially with active traders

1. Cross-Functional Leadership

• Partner with Product, Business, Design, Engineering, CRM, Compliance and CX  to ship high-quality business outcomes.

C.  Who are you?

• 8+ years of product management experience in fast-paced startups
• Have owned and scaled multiple product lines end-to-end
• Proven to ship 0 → 1 and then scale 1 → n with clear business impact
• Strong analytical decision-making — fluent with product metrics and experiments
• Active options trader — deep empathy for trader behaviour in live markets
• Experience managing and mentoring a team of 2–4 PMs
• High ownership mindset: bias for action, loves solving hard user problems
  

D. Good to Have

• Built/ worked on trading products
• Understanding of SEBI compliances
• Experience working on subscription-based products.
• Exposure to investment advisory services.
