Key Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality backend solutions using Java and related technologies.
• Microservices & API Development: Build and maintain scalable microservices and APIs for seamless integration across our platform.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure low-latency responses, high availability, and optimal performance of the platform and apps.
• Database Management: Design and manage SQL & NoSQL databases ensuring data integrity, performance tuning, and scalability.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with business, product, and engineering teams to develop innovative features.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Follow clean code principles, CI/CD practices, and automated testing to maintain high-quality software.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
• OTT / Media Experience (Preferred): Prior experience working in Media or OTT platforms is a plus, but not mandatory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java
• Experience in Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful APIs
• Experience with Microservices architecture & cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus
• Experience in multi-threading, caching, and performance tuning
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
