Product Engineer - Java

As a Product Engineer at TechTree IT Systems with 2-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Java-based components and interfaces. Your role involves contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle, including communicating technological details to the business team, understanding business requirements, and providing solutions to clients. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your design skills to provide web solutions to clients, analyzing business requirements, discussing tradeoffs between design and implementation, and translating client requirements into systems design. You will be expected to write bug-free code, optimize and refine code, debug effectively, and set standards for the team. Additionally, you will be involved in project planning, driving mid-level planning exercises, managing and tracking plans of engineers, anticipating issues and risks, and choosing appropriate development approaches. The ideal candidate for this position should have an MCA/BE/M.Sc. in Computer Science with 2-5 years of experience in system integration and application development. Proficiency in technologies such as JAVA, Struts, Spring, MVC, J2EE, JSP, Web Server, Application Servers, HTML, Windows 9X, Oracle 9i, MySQL, and various development environments is required. Understanding project life cycle processes, teamwork dynamics, and the ability to deliver in demanding environments are essential. Strong written and oral communication skills are also necessary. Key skills for this role include experience in JAVA/J2EE technology, ORM tools like Hibernate or EJB, frameworks such as Struts and Spring MVC, web services like JAX-WS and REST-API, HTML, XML, JavaScript, design patterns, UML, analytical capabilities, DB DDL, DML, triggers, stored procedures, OS knowledge (Windows/Linux), SubVersion control (CVS or SVN), and the ability to work as a module lead ensuring quality.
