Product Engineer - Android

As a Product Engineer - Android at TechTree IT Systems, your role involves building and designing advanced Android applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, define, and ship new features. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing mobile Android-based apps - Managing clients" data, feeds, and designs - Cooperating with other development team members in the production of finished products - Working on projects independently and taking initiatives - Performing ongoing maintenance of existing projects - Mentoring and coaching junior developers - Building and leading a team, managing people and products/projects - Working independently or with the overall lead to come up with estimates, design, plan, and resource assignments - Having experience in enterprise applications like banking apps, augmented reality apps, and retail apps - Possessing hands-on knowledge of developing financial apps Qualifications required for this role include: - Knowledge in Android NDK & Native application - Familiarity with C & C++ - Ability to use NDK source code in Java using JNI - Experience in creating Android library projects written in Java and C++ - Proficiency in Web services, OOPs fundamentals, Java, Java ME, and XML - Completion of a minimum of 5 project cycles on Android SDK - Exposure to working with Android version 5.0 and above - Familiarity with third-party libraries like Retrofit, Glide, and Picasso - Knowledge and working experience of Room/Realm based SQLite Framework in Database - Understanding of Firebase Platform and REST APIs with JSON - Sound knowledge of overall Android architecture - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to great design and user experiences - Hard-working and a fast learner Good to have skills: - Android architecture component knowledge - Android Jetpack Libraries - Databinding and Rx(Reactive) Android - Unit Testing framework in Android (Mockito and Espresso), Constraint layout - Knowledge of Kotlin TechTree IT Systems is a company that values expertise, teamwork, and continuous learning in the field of Android development.
