Product Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Product Designer with expertise in CAD and 3D design to join our product development team. The role involves conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative home décor and handicraft items — blending aesthetic appeal with functionality. You’ll collaborate with artisans, production teams, and sourcing units to bring ideas from sketch to finished product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and design new home décor and garden products (metal, wood, ceramic, glass, etc.).
• Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings, technical specifications, and design renders for prototyping and production.
• Develop 3D rendered visuals and presentations for internal review and client approval.
• Work closely with the production and sampling teams to ensure design feasibility and quality.
• Stay updated with market trends, colors, textures, and materials to develop new collections.
• Collaborate with artisans and manufacturers to translate traditional craftsmanship into modern designs.
• Assist in material selection, cost analysis, and design modifications based on feedback.
• Maintain an organized digital archive of designs, drawings, and product specifications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in product design, preferably in home décor, lifestyle, or handicraft categories.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360, and rendering software like KeyShot, Blender, or V-Ray.
• Hands-on experience with 3D visualization and prototyping.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, and manufacturing techniques (wood, metal, ceramic, etc.).
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver under deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with export houses, lifestyle brands, or artisan-based organizations.
• Knowledge of sustainability practices and eco-friendly materials.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) for presentation boards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
