Product Designer

As a member of the data engineering team at PepsiCo, you will play a crucial role in defining and prioritizing business processes related to Supply Chain, Financial, Consumer, Channel, and Category domains. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate closely with business leads, data science team, and data engineering team to translate business requirements into technical solutions effectively. - Create high-level process models such as system interface diagrams, workflow diagrams, and data flow diagrams to represent processes within the analyzed area. - Empower the business by driving increased adoption of data, data science, and business intelligence landscape. - Identify opportunities for new products and design sketches either on paper or digitally using tools like CAD. - Utilize 3D modeling software to design products and components, produce prototypes, and test functionality. - Enhance the design of existing products by analyzing market needs and consumer preferences. - Set design requirements based on internal team briefs and external partner inputs. - Conduct system data analysis to identify patterns, exceptions, and erroneous data. - 3+ years of experience in data analysis, data profiling, or data engineering within the CPG or Manufacturing Industry. - 2+ years of work experience in areas like Integrated Business Planning, Demand Planning, Distribution Network Analysis, Manufacturing, Production Network Optimization, Transportation, or other Supply Chain-related domains. - 2+ years of strong Data Profiling experience with the ability to identify trends and anomalies in data. - 3+ years of work experience as a Product Designer or in a similar role. - Creativity in mixing colors, shapes, and techniques along with proficiency in design programs like Illustrator and Sketch. - BSc/MSc in Product Design, Manufacturing Design Engineering, or a relevant field. - Experience working with datasets from POS Aggregators such as IRI, Nielsen, Kantar. - Proficiency in handling structured/unstructured datasets and effectively communicating requirements to technical team members. - Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and SQLTools.,
