Product Design Engineer

Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented, experienced, and detail-oriented Product Design Engineer to join our Engineering department. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical design skills, experience in drafting, and a deep understanding of product development and engineering processes. This role requires proficiency in creating 2D and 3D designs and drawings, focusing on sheet metal fabrications and mechanical/electronic products.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Drafting:
• Create detailed 2D and 3D designs and drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Autodesk Inventor to meet production requirements.
• Ensure all designs are accurate, clear, and align with industry standards and company specifications.
• Mechanical Design Expertise:
• Apply strong knowledge of mechanical design basics and practices, particularly in sheet metal fabrications.
• Collaborate with the clients/engineering team to develop concepts, finalize designs, and produce prototypes
• Product Development & Engineering Process:
• Engage in the complete product development lifecycle, including concept, design freeze, sample making, and validation tasks for mechanical/electronic products.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
• Coordinate with production teams to support the manufacturing process and resolve any design-related issues.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with technical specifications.
• Participate in the validation and testing of prototypes to verify design integrity and performance.

Nice to Have:

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Finite Element Calculations & Analysis using ANSYS or Mathcad.
• Experience in technical content writing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
