- Develop target cost models for NEW and existing MAHLE products using Siemens Team Center Product Cost Management (TcPCM) software.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support design-to-cost activities with product engineering, manufacturing & purchasing teams.
- Conduct benchmarking and teardown analysis of competitor products and generate comparative cost insights.
- Create detailed “should-cost” / “zero-based cost” estimates for components/assemblies of various manufacturing processes (e.g., injection molding, casting, stamping, machining, etc.) including electronic components (e.g. PCBs, wire harness, etc.)
- Develop and standardize “Master” cost calculations in TcPCM by integrating technical inputs.
- Generate cost performance reports to monitor variances against targets (gap analysis) and recommend findings, potential actions to internal stakeholders.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and manufacturing innovations to ensure cost models remain current and competitive.
