Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage the sourcing and procurement of various products and materials for the company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, evaluating product quality and pricing, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and products based on quality, price, reliability, and service.
• Request and analyze quotations, proposals, and bids from vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.
• Conduct market research to identify new products, trends, and alternative suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to understand product needs and timelines.
• Monitor inventory levels to anticipate procurement needs.
• Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, legal requirements, and budget constraints.
• Continuously seek cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple products and suppliers simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with local and international sourcing practices (if applicable).
• Experience in sourcing across multiple product categories.
