Your new role – challenging and future-oriented

The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage complete procurement cycle – from requisition to delivery – for all electrical materials and components.
Float RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers, and prepare comparative statements for management approval.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost optimization.
Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with approved and potential suppliers.
Coordinate with Engineering & Projects teams to ensure technical compliance and timely supply.
Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, contractual terms, and ethical sourcing practices.
Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and service; initiate corrective actions as required.
Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose alternative sourcing strategies.
Prepare MIS reports, track material delivery status, and maintain documentation for audit compliance.
Support in vendor audits, evaluation, and supplier development initiatives.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and company policies.

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engg preferred), further certification in Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.

Additional Requirements:

Experience in EPC / Industrial Projects preferred.
Exposure to strategic sourcing and vendor development activities.
