Procurement Manager

As a Procurement / Purchase Manager in the Engineering & Construction industry, your role involves establishing procurement strategies to optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery of project materials. You will collaborate closely with Construction management and the Design team to coordinate supplier selection, credit, and terms, track supplier performance standards, and conduct ongoing evaluations. Your responsibilities include: - Establishing procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving, and tracking of project materials - Coordinating supplier selection, credit, and terms with Construction management and the Design team - Tracking supplier performance standards and conducting ongoing evaluations - Collaborating with management in contract negotiation and credit line agreements - Conducting periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure clear priorities and smooth workflow - Preparing periodic reports on department activities and achievements for the Logistics Manager - Identifying human resources requirements and recommending development and training plans for subordinates - Carrying out performance appraisals and assigning coverage when needed - Performing other duties as assigned by the Logistics Manager Qualifications required for this role: - A clear understanding of the purpose of documentation preparation - Good English communication skills and interpersonal skills - Proven working experience in a construction company Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including Provident Fund.
